GHN Dinner

A champagne & tarte flambée (Flammkuchen) reception for GHN members takes place on July 26 at 7:00 pm in Nikolaushof Wuerzburg.

It will be the first opportunity for the GHN members to meet in person and to share ideas and experiences with each other in an informal setting. Attendance at the GHN dinner is free of charge. However the number of participants is restricted to 20 persons. If you would like to join the dinner, please send an e-mail at alina.markova@tu-dresden.de.

GHN Information Stand & Coffee Break

There will be a GHN information stand at the conference location. It will offer an opportunity for all conference participants not only to learn more about the Grete Hermann Network, but also to have some fun with amusing activities.

The GHN members in particular are welcome to meet at the GHN stand for a GHN coffee break on July 27 at 3:10 pm to enhance their network links.

About the Grete Hermann Network

The Grete Hermann Network (GHN) is an international network of female researchers in condensed matter physics and neighboring research areas, involving both junior researchers and experienced professors. It is a part of the Cluster of Excellence ct.qmat.

The goals of the GHN are to provide networking and mentoring, to increase visibility of female senior scientists as role models, and to create a comprehensive pool of female researchers in the Cluster's research areas in view of future hirings for professorships and further permanent positions.
