The Welcome Reception will take place on July 24 at 6:00 pm at the Congress Centrum Würzburg.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will take place on July 27 at 7:00 pm in one of the most beautiful wine cellars in the world - the Hofkeller. You will be able to experience and enjoy typical Franconian wines during a wine tasting with catering in a unique vault underneath the Residence Palace.

Extending beneath the Würzburg Residence palace over an area of about 4,557 sq. meters, these cellars are themselves also part of the UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest documented wine estate in Germany. With 120 hectares of vineyard holdings throughout Franconia and an average annual production of approx. 850,000 bottles, it numbers among the largest wine estates of Germany.

The dinner fee will be 60 Euro.

Attendance at the dinner as well as dietary restrictions can be specified during online registration.

City Tour of Wuerzburg

Guided City Tours of Wuerzburg (in English or German) will take place on July 27 at 4:00 pm. Meeting point will be announced during the conference. The participants will be able to visit famous sightseeing spots of Wuerzburg, which also includes UNESCO World Heritage sights.

Along the way, you will learn funny and interesting, ancient and current, glamorous and possibly also cruel, romantic and temperamental facts about Wuerzburg and its inhabitants. On this tour you will experience the highlights from several centuries in approx. 60 minutes and afterwards you can explore the city on your own.

For all participants of the conference the city tours are free of charge.
